The Engineering Department now has a dedicated advisory for their Career Technical Student Organization or CTSO. The first project for our Aiken Engineering CTSO?
That’s right folks! We are launching off the year right by building rockets to launch (hopefully) here on campus. While launch details still need to be figured out, the rockets themselves are on the way thanks to Ward’s Science. This idea was courtesy of our very own members of our CTSO. Beyond space, students have been tasked with brainstorming what projects and problems they want to tackle this year. Student driven and student led is the motto for a great CTSO.
Have students interested in engineering? Send them our way! They can join our rocket building currently every other Thursday during engineering club. ALL grades welcome.
