How should students who do part-time jobs and extracurriculars manage their time and maintain satisfactory grades: a question I’m sure many want the answer to because in many cases we
end up having to prioritize one or the other. The answer to this issue is various; you simply have to find what works for you. For example, time management: if I tried to complete everything
without setting aside time for this and that, I’d be easily overwhelmed and mentally exhausted. But this is just one way to go about it. I create schedules but you might find something else more helpful.
Some student athletes and student workers find it simpler to use available resources, such as tutoring, study groups, and/or academic advisors. Student athletes should take advantage of these possibilities to maintain their academic standing and avoid falling behind. Another issue that student athletes frequently overlook is getting enough rest, which is critical for keeping focused in both extracurricular activities and academic environments such as classes.
In conclusion, student athletes should try to do all of these, but if not try to consistently do at least one and that one should be the most efficient for them, because they are critical in managing extracurriculars, jobs, and school all at once. If you try to manage all of these at once without the help of these things, you will most likely overwhelm and stress yourself out because it will be too much to handle.
