There are many afterschool and recreational activities in Aiken that help you understand and make active use of knowledge, and participate in learning. They incorporate emotional, behavioral and cognitive self-regulation, as well as initiative, curiosity and creativity. Aiken’s clubs, activities, sports, and programs help develop social and emotional skills in students who interact and socialize different interests, promote critical thinking, problem solving and help students improve in other areas of study.
Having more activities will help on the social side to make new friends, meet new people and be able to form social bonds that allow us to work as a team. It also helps to develop confidence publicly or present work before different types of groups or clubs. Ms. Kruse, one of the faculty leaders of Adventure Crew, gave us a little of her point of view: “There are experiences that we cannot teach in class and we need to experience other things like Adventure Crew.” The skills that students practice the extra curricular are things that they can use throughout their life.
It is a good opportunity to create new things and with the help of these teachers I think things could turn out better than normal. My idea raised in this article is to have the attention of some students or teachers who can contribute to any type of recreational activity. I feel it would be an important part to start any type of project in mind.
If you live it with passion you will have enough motivation to give your best, it can be an attribute of the heart.
