Recent Events:

Girls Basketball started their season on the road last Tuesday and took down the Gators in the swamp! Final score was 31-17. Your Falcons were led by Destiny Newman who had 10 points and Charli McCray who had 8 points.

Boys Basketball started their season with a bang on Friday as they took on the Owls of Mt. Healthy here in The Nest in front of a capacity crowd! We had officially sold all general admission tickets at halftime of the JV game. The first quarter was electric as your Falcons jumped out to a 25-6 lead. They would ultimately win the game by a final score of 76-59. They were led by Shaleyk Perry who had 19 points and Brandon Glass who had 13 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks! If you see him in the gym or in the hallway, please congratulate Coach Black on his first victory as a Falcon!

Upcoming Events:

Girls Basketball‘s game this evening against Riverview East has been cancelled. They will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Woodward to take on the Lady Bulldogs in a Varsity only contest. Game begins at 6:00pm and tickets will be available here.

Boys Basketball has a busy week this week as they have three home games. First, they will host Loveland on Tuesday, 11/29, in a three level tripleheader. Second, they begin CMAC play on Friday, 12/2, as they host the Senators of Taft in a three level tripleheader. They will turn around and host Northwest on Saturday, 12/3, in another three level tripleheader. All start times are 4:30/6/7:30pm. Tickets for these three events can be purchased here!

Wrestling opens their season on Thursday, 12/1, at Finneytown. Wrestling will begin at 4pm. They will be back in action on Saturday, 12/3, at Taylor for the Rumble on the River. Wrestling begins at 10:00am.

What else you should know…: 

On Wednesday of last week, M.O.R.E. President, Elijah Lewis left wrestling practice to help deliver canned goods raised by our students to Grace Episcopal Church with Coach Duka. You can see photos of the delivery here!
