Congratulations to Mr. Hull, the student-selected Teacher of the Month!

If you’ve been at Aiken for the last few years, there’s a good chance you’ve run into Mr. Hull.

Whether it’s coming in early to help students study or staying late to coach Wrestling, Mr. Hull is around.

Mr. Hull has been teaching seventh-grade English at Aiken for the last four years, having transferred from Schroder High School. In addition to teaching, he has created the seventh-grade student council and is the seventh-grade team lead.

“He’s funny and he’s very energetic,” says Junior Jeremiyah Bush. “He’s strong, he’s cool, he’s amazing, and he’s athletic,” adds Junior Laviona Thompson. Senior Chris Lewis agrees, “He’s very easy to be friends with.”

If you don’t know this teacher as Mr. Hull, you might know him as Coach Hull. Coach Hull is also in charge of the Jr. High Wrestling and in his first year coaching varsity wrestling led four wrestlers to District competitions. “He’s a very active coach. He will not just tell you what to do but show you what to do,” says Senior Ka’Mori Boyd.

Congrats again to Mr. Hull! If you would like to nominate a teacher for next month, contact Ms. McElroy at [email protected]
