This past Saturday, February 24th, students Aubrey Otto, Deontae Baker, and Keontae Baker took on four other teams to win 1st place in the University of Cincinnati Robotics Competition! The Aiken Engineering Club, led by the dauntless Ms. Wilhelmus and Mr. Dunn, has been preparing for this competition for months and their experience was nothing less than riveting.
Total score was comprised of three parts, competition, presentation, and barn creativity. While all teams struggled in round 1 of the competition, only collecting one hay bale, students had a quick break to problem solve code and design. Our team went on to collect 5 hay bales in round 2 dominating the competition.
Congratulations Team!
